～ぐらい･･･・～ほど･･･
【意味・文型】
～と同じ程度だ・～と同じ程度に･･･
程度の強さを表すために、ある状況に例えて言う時に使う。
「～かと思うくらい・～かと思うほど」の形でもよく使う。
(To the extent that ～, in which ～ is an example (emphasizing extent) of
what could have, but did not actually, happen.
Often used, ～かと思うくらい・～かと思うほど in the sense “was so [adjective], that I even thought ･･･”)

②彼女の腕は折れそうなくらい細い。
＞Her arms were so thin they looked like they would break.
＞Cánh tay của cô ấy mỏng đến mức trông như thể họ sẽ gãy.
③天気予報によると、今日はこの前のハリケーンぐらいの風が吹くそうだ。
＞According to the weather forecast, today’s winds would be as strong as the last hurricane.
